Two petty thieves face-off against gangsters, bandits and police after forging a treasure map.

David D'Mello lives a middle-classed lifestyle in Bangalore along with his wife, Mary, and a son, Bunty, and is a jockey in the Bangalore Turf Club. He has a run-in with a wealthy stud farm owner, Gomango, who kills him. David's death also kills his widower friend, Balram, compelling his son, Bhima, to move in with Mary. She gives birth to a daughter, and makes a living sewing and stitching clothes, while Bunty and Bhima wash cars and do small chores. Years later both Bhima and Bunty have grown up, work on a stud farm, and look after a pony, Sikander. Bunty is in love with Jenny and wants to marry her, but her dad, William, will only give his blessings after Bunty accumulates some wealth. In order to get wealthy quickly both Bhima and Bunty decide to rob Gomango - and set off a chain of events that will endanger and change their lives forever.

Advocate Anand Mathur draws up a will for his client, while reading the novel "Godfather", and erroneously makes out the will with a provision that the beneficiary must be a criminal don in order to inherit the billions of rupees. The beneficiary is a bachelor named Rahul Bhargav, who wants no part of being a Don, criminal or anything of that sort. His Police Inspector girlfriend, Kanchan Dhillon, has set her sights on the billions, and makes him change his mind. Following the brutal slaying of a call-girl named Julie in Bombay city, two police inspectors, namely Anil Sharma and Rajat Bedi, are assigned to investigate and bring the culprit(s) to book.

Nainital-based, orthodox and traditional, Amar, obtains a degree in Engineering, and re-locates to Bombay for employment. After doing so, he decides to assist his friend, Prakash, woo a wealthy and educated woman, Neeta, but ends up falling in love and marrying her himself much to the chagrin of her father. Shortly after the marriage, he takes her to visit his widowed-schoolteacher mother, but she has gone on an outing. They return back, and shortly thereafter arguments ensue, which escalate to such an extent that Amar assaults her, compelling her to return to her parents' home. When she insists on a divorce - Amar refuses until and unless she lives with him for 15 days in order to create a false scenario of a happy marriage for his mother.

Raja (Balkrishna) and Gauri (Ramya) are childhood sweethearts, living in a small village in the southern part of India. Gauri plans to marry Raja one day, and will not tolerate any other woman to even cast an eye on Raja.
